If you are referred by your doctor for diagnostic breast imaging to the Geelong Breast Clinic all examinations are Medicare eligible. For most examinations there will be an out of pocket fee. This fee varies depending on the examination you have been referred for.
A small co-payment fee is applicable to pensioners and health care card holders.
Our staff will inform you of costs prior to your examination. Please have your Medicare card ready to present at time of payment.
If you have any questions with regard to diagnostic billing or have concerns with hardship paying your bill, please contact our Appointments Coordinator Stephanie Wyatt on (03) 52220900 for help and more information.
